黑莲派 [Black Lotus Sect]
The Black Lotus Sect (黑莲派, Hēi lián pài) is a rebel organisation founded by Shenran, an ex-military captain under the tyrannical emperor of the Imperial dynasty. Looking to overthrow the corrupt government, the organisation actively combated the Imperial Army, raiding their cities and executing many prominent government officals. The organisation did anything they could to achieve their goals, despite how unethical or violent their methods were. As a result, they had a notorious reputation amongst the peasants and royalty. In the recent years, they grew in power by recruiting everyone from thieves and criminals to soldiers and mercenaries, thus becoming the most feared organisation in the country.
